Up Your Game: The Competitive Dance Intensive

July 24 + 25, 12 - 3pm daily

Get ready for auditions! This intensive will focus on strengthening, stretching, performance and technique to get you ready to safely and confidently go into competition season. Whether you are auditioning for a dance team, show choir, or Incite Dance Company, get the skills and stamina to stand out!
Every day will start with a warmup and Stretch + Strength class. Technique and Audition Prep classes will follow.
** Camps will be broken up into smaller groups for classes based on age and dance experience.

The Incite Choreography + Dance Intensive
Ages 12+

Schedule: 12 - 3pm daily, Student Showcase August 6, 7:30 PM

Hone your technique and explore your artistic voice in our one-of-a-kind choreography and dance intensive. Dancers will start their day with technique class followed by workshops on composition and iconic choreography. The rest of the day is dedicated to the craft of choreography. Dancers will be assigned small groups of 2-4. They will receive instructor feedback and present completed pieces in a showcase on Sunday to be recorded and live streamed.

The Moonwater Dance Project 2-Day Workshop
For Intermediate and Advanced Dancers Ages 12+
August 14 + 15
9 am- 3:30 pm daily

Welcome to the Moonwater Dance Project Summer Workshop at INCITE! This workshop is intended for intermediate and advanced level students. MWDP prides itself on being a company comprised of diversely trained artists. Students will have the opportunity to learn from members of MWDP, all of whom are accomplished dancers, having trained all over the country and performed with many companies including Winifred Haun and Dancers, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, and Cocodaco Dance Project. Our summer workshop offerings include classes in yoga and conditioning, ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and improvisation techniques. Students will also learn MWDP repertory set on the company by Artistic Director Mackenzie King.

St Paul Lutheran Church + School at 5201 Galitz St in Skokie
While our building is under construction, St Paul Lutheran will be our temporary home and we are so grateful for such a great space. We will be dancing in a beautiful wood-floored gymnasium and a large cafeteria which we will equip with vinyl marley dance floors. We are so excited to dance BIG in their perfect facilities.
